Sometimes in life, I find myself in a cycle that seems impossible to break.  I’m sure I’m not alone in this, but it can still feel frustrating.  Today’s post is a poem I wrote about one such perplexing cycle.

As a side note, today was an excellent day, and thanks to some good friends/acquaintances and some blessings from the Lord, I have utmost hope that this particular cycle is breaking.

Broke(n) Cycle

Need a loan to buy a car.
Buy a car so you can work.
Work to qualify for a loan
to pay for the car
that you can’t afford,
to get to the job
you don’t have,
but you need
in order to
get a loan.
