Switchfoot is my favorite band. As I was contemplating the themes for The Stewards’ Apprentice, I happened to be listening to their new song, “The Strength to Let Go.” This song is deeply beautiful and honest, and it is perfect for The Steward’s Apprentice. So I’ve painted these pictures as inspiration as I rewrite the novel. The background fits the story’s setting, and the quotes fit the themes.
