Waiting: A Poem

In seasons of waiting, whether active or quiet, we may echo the Psalmist’s question, “How long, O Lord?” Yet, like he saw Hagar and Nathanael, God sees us and hears our cries. We long for various things and must also focus on His presence, learning to long for His future and be content in the present.
